Watta Bite Charter Fishing Report

April 20, 2009

The ice is finally melting, and the Spring Fishing season is getting started.

We’ve been fishing the Traverse Bays the past couple of weeks. The Lake Trout and Whitefish are really starting to kick in.

Fishing the steep secondary banks 130’ to 150’ deep is good while Jigging SS squirrels and Swedish pimples. Very slow trolling, cowbells and spin glows are also working.

The Lake Trout should start moving shallow in the next couple of weeks.

Good fishing

Friends,
The Watta Bite Charter Fishing Reports are written by me, Captain Bill.  They are all accounts of my fishing experiences.  I will not use information from other fishermen.  I have to know what's going on before I write, that way you, the customer or potential customer, have facts to work with when choosing a charter.
